Snows Are Falling In Parts of Scotland, E. England Tonight! (Includes Photos)

As expected, the northerly air flow which connects the arctic with Scotland today and through tomorrow morning is bringing snow showers across the Higher ground asnd even to lower levels of the Highlands and East Coast.

Here’s a recent radar image from NetweatherTV! The snow showers are highlighted in pink. For folks living anywhere from Caithness all the way down the North Sea coast, there is a chance of snow showers, particualrly into tonight for eastern England. Snow showers may pep up over parts of Scotland through tonight also, espeically down the east coast and central Highlands. I wouldn’t be surprised to see snow showers work into the Glasgow area but the the main moisture streams will be focused in the east where there’s more exposure from the northeast wind blowing off the North Sea.

Here was one I took myself in Douglas, South Lanarkshire at around 2.25am this morning. A slight dusting from a passing shower!
