>6th in a row and 11 out of 12 below freezing. February on track to beat Januarys 17 nights below freezing and also will come in as second coldest month of winter!!
Once again, it’s another morning in which we waken up to a very frosty ground and scrapping can be heard as I enjoy a long lie in bed this morning.
A new week dawns as we hit 11 nights out of 12 well below freezing and tonight will match the number of nights below freezing for the month of January.. This impressive wintry month in a very impressive winter continues.. stay tuned.
Thanks for reading.

>It's a good job you warmed me of this, as I wouldn't want to catch a chill after falling through thin ice. Would you like to come over for some curling this weekend?
>I wouldnt go on any ice as I dont believe it's safe we havent had the same kind of sustained cold by day despite night after night well below freezing. this time of year the sun is too strong now even if it's still frsoty throughout the day in the shade
>The deep freeze contintues at Lochgelly. How do I go about determining if it is safe to fish on this ice? What tools do I need for the job and what bait recommendations do you offer? I could float some squid down a hole on the ice pack?
