‘Ring of Fire’ Circles Central US Hot Dome While Record Snow Falls On Barrow, Alaska

With the strongest upper ridge continuing to build over the Central US and troughs either side, we have a significant temperature contrast in the Northwest and Northeast with autumnal air of 50s and 60s, dew points 20s and 30s while we’re talking full blown summer heat of 90s, even 100s and heat indexes of 100-110.
