The heat first started across Southern California and Southwest earlier in the week and will end in the Northeast this weekend. 97 degrees was achieved in Anaheim, CA a few days ago, 92 degrees in Kansas Thursday and today could see 60s reach New England, a huge contrast to last weekend when NYC dipped to -1 and Boston -9.
