It’s been another hot summer-like day for Southern California and Southwest as well as the Northern Plains where records have melted. Temps widely 30-40 above normal throughout Nebraska and the Dakotas but it’s been quite different further east where winter’s returned to the Northeast with heavy snowfall over New England including Boston where they’ve officially broke their 1995-96 record for most snow in a season.
This occurs while the national snow cover continues to drop, now at a measly 10.5%.
After Downtown LA topped a record 93 and Anaheim reached 98 yesterday, it’s continued hot across Southern California and Southwest today…
All this while snow is falling and it’s below freezing over winter weary New England!
