Scotland
The latest weather front will swing a band of heavy rain across Scotland this evening followed by blustery showers. It will turn chilly once again behind the front with lows of 4-7C, nearer 3 or 4C in rural areas, feeling colder in the wind.
Halloween looks to have a mix of tricks and treats with sunshine and cold, heavy, blustery showers whipped in by a strong SW wind. These showers will be most prolific in the West but don’t be surprised to see these push all the way to the East Coast. That wind will still be gale-force along the West Coast. Highs mild for the time of year at 10-14C.
If you or the kids are out tomorrow evening, it’s looking chilly, breezy and you may want to have the waterproofs handy as showers can’t be ruled out. You also may want to have a pair of gloves handy as it will feel cold with temperatures of 8 or 9C by around 7 and 8pm. The wind will make it feel colder.

England
After a wet, windy end to the day, conditions improve through this evening and overnight with skies clearing and with lighter winds, expect some inland fog formation and it turns cool too with lows dipping to 5 or 6C.
Halloween is looking ‘decent’ with a fine, dry albeit misty, foggy start for some with the last of today’s rain clearing the Southeast corner. As we progress through the day, the breeze picks up, especially the further north and west you go and showers will blow in and may cross the country. Highs 10-15C.
If your out trick or treating tomorrow evening, expect a mix of clear spells and sharp showers so have the waterproofs handy and the gloves as that wind will feel cold. Temp 8-11C between 6-8pm, feeling cooler in the breeze.

Wales
It’s a night of blustery showers and a chilly breeze after a wet, windy day with gales along the West Coast. Expect lows to dip no lower than 7 or 8C tonight thanks to that wind.
Halloween looks to be a mixed bag with sun and showers and temperatures near average for the time of year at 12-15C.
If you or the kids are out trick or treating tomorrow night expect the chilly breeze to continue, should be largely dry but an odd sharp shower can’t be ruled out. Have both warm but also waterproof gear. Temp around 9-11C at 6-8pm. Feeling cooler in the breeze.

Northern Ireland
Following the spell of wet and windy weather this afternoon, conditions improve greatly this evening and overnight but it’s another cool one with a touch of rural frost possible again. Lows 2-5C.
Halloween is looking like a mixed bag with sunshine and showers, those showers driven in by a stiff SW wind. Highs 10-12C.
Out and about tomorrow evening and it’s looking not too bad at all although you may want to bring some warm clothes with clear skies allowing the temperature to drop away but the breeze will make it feel colder. The 6-8pm temperature should be around 7 or 8C, feeling colder with the wind.

Ireland
It’s a clear, mainly calm and quiet night albeit cold with rural frost expected. Lows 1-5C.
Halloween is looking rather pleasant albeit cool with a slight breeze, stronger along the coasts but highs shall reach seasonable levels of 12-15C. Tomorrow night and out and about for trick or treating, expect some showers to move in, especially in the West but further east it’s mainly clear, calm and chilly with temperatures of 6 or 7C at 6-8pm.
