After lengthy & careful technical validation, the ARPA Sardinia Met. Dep. (with the support of SIAP-Micros) has validated 48.4°C in Orani on July 19. It’s a new July record for Europe, only 0.4°C from the all-time record set in Syracuse in Aug. 2021.
