MANY NEW MONTHLY RECORDS WE’RE SET WIDELY ACROSS EUROPE INCLUDING A NEW CONTINENTAL RECORD FOR JULY!

While no all-time records set in UK or France, 2026 has set many records for 30, 32, 35, 37 and 38C days in a calender year. France has witnessed an astonishing 45 days with somewhere recording 40C or above.

After lengthy & careful technical validation, the ARPA Sardinia Met. Dep. (with the support of SIAP-Micros) has validated 48.4°C in Orani on July 19.
It’s a new July record for Europe, only 0.4°C from the all-time record set in Syracuse in Aug. 2021.
