A noteworthy low was reported yesterday morning at Braemar, Aberdeenshire of -8.6C or 17 degrees F..
Braemar, nestles in between hills in a cold hollow in the Cairngorm National Park is regularly home to Britain’s lowest high’s and Low’s and is also home to the nations lowest recorded temperature of -27C or -17F sharing this achievement with Altnaharra in Sutherland.
