Notice the surge of heat rounding the base of the trough and driving due north into the UK and Low Countries!

Noticeably warmer tomorrow in the SE.

That very trough that will force the heat north will also break it come Saturday as the front sweeps east into the very warm, moist low level environment. Expect potential disruptive and strong thunderstorms with all this high octane fuel. Flash flooding, large hail, strong winds and even the odd tornado is possible Saturday afternoon as the front crosses England in particular.
Check out the HIGH CAPE values.

Heat Comes Right Back Next Week….
If you like it warm or hot, don’t fret about the breakdown this weekend because the ridge and heat comes right back early next week… check this out!

Note the trough dives into the Alps and central Med while another MAJOR ridge comes roaring NNE into the UK from the Azores. Could be WARMER next week compared to what we’ve got today and tomorrow in the Southeast.

Only have to look at the 500mb height anomaly between tomorrow afternoon and early Tuesday of next week to see what I think NEXT WEEK could be warmer than what we’ve got now.
Tomorrow.
