Scotland
It’s another cold night with frost already reforming after highs of just 2 or 3C at best with sheltered areas not reaching 0C. Cloud and even light rain or drizzle will affect the far North and even for much of the Highlands, it’s mostly cloudy and milder. For the Central Lowlands and South, it’s clear and cold with lows widely -2 or -3C in the towns, -3 to -6C in rural parts.
Saturday will see the best of the sunshine in the East, perhaps South but it’s looking cloudier for much of the country compared to today. Staying cold with highs of 2 or 3C in the South, milder at 4 or 5C in the North.
Sunday remains on a cloudier note but largely dry. Highs 2-4C.
Monday is looking mostly cloudy but dry and staying cool with highs of 3-6C.

England
It’s a chilly night to come for much of England but cloudier skies and even outbreaks of light rain will affect Eastern parts, particularly parts of Lincolnshire, The Wash, E Anglia and the Southeast, clearer and colder further west through the Midlands where you can expect a frost say from Oxford up through Birmingham all the way to Carlisle. Lows range from 4C to -4C. Do be aware of dense fog also.
Saturday looks cloudy in the North and along some coastal areas but over the Midlands and South it’s looking largely fine, dry and sunny. Highs range between 3 and 9C.
Sunday looks similar to tomorrow with the best of the sunshine in the South and Southwest, always cloudier the further East and North you go. Similar temperatures too.
Looking fine, dry but mostly cloudy Monday. Highs 5-9C.
Wales
It’s a cold and frosty night ahead throughout Wales with some dense freezing fog patches likely to form. Overnight lows range between 2C at the close to perhaps -4C in sheltered inland spots.
Fine, dry and sunny weather to come Saturday albeit on the cool side but it stays dry and winds will be light. Highs 4-7C.
Sunday could be somewhat cloudier but remaining dry with light winds. Highs remain cool at 4-7C.
More dry, settled weather for the start of next week. Similar temperatures and the cloud looks to remain dominant.
Northern Ireland
It’s somewhat of a NW-SE split tonight in terms of cloud cover. While the North and West looks to stay mostly cloudy, the East and Southeast should remain clear and that means another frost with lows back into the -2 to -4C territory. Nearer 1 or 2C up towards Derry.
Saturday as well as Sunday looks cloudier but dry and staying on the chilly side with temperatures no better than 5 or 6C for most.
Monday looks largely dry but thicker cloud may introduce a chance of some rain in the North.
Ireland
It’s a cold, clear and frosty night ahead throughout much of the Republic with lows dipping to between 2C at the coast to potentially -4C over the Midlands.
Saturday looks to see a mix of sun and cloud, staying chilly with highs of 5-9C but in any sunshine and with light winds, it shouldn’t feel too bad.
Sunday as well as Monday looks much the same with mostly cloudy skies, staying cool. Highs 6-10C.
