>I'd just like to inform you all that the temperature at Lochgelly, near St Andrews (the home of golf) in Scotland fell to a rather chilly 5.8 degrees C early on the 20th of September. The mean minimum temp for September is typically 9 degrees C. Back in September of 2007, the temperature nearly touched on the freezing points (1.9 degrees C). Will we see such chilly lows before September is out? I am buzzing with excitement at such a prospect. I won't be putting my blue chips down for this one though.
For the residents of Lochgelly, I would advise you to put on an extra jersey if you feel cold. Perhaps have a flask of soup on standby. If your winter fuel payment is late, perhaps you should light a candle and huddle round.
