We have two robust fall storm systems attacking or set to attack the Lower 48. Check out these juicy 7 day totals. Especially the 12.5″ of liquid expected over S British Columbia which is sure to fall as big snows in the mountains.

What’s sure to kick start this fairly wet upcoming 7 day period is the robust system we have currently pushing NNE over the Heartland. Heavy, flooding rainfall as well as a significant severe threat comes with this storm.
Expect a surge of warmth and humidity up the EC, cool surge down the Plains on the backside and an area of severe weather in the typical warm sector. There’s a fairly large canopy of moderate to heavy rain too which may present local flooding.
Here’s the latest ECMWF surface charts.
