As shown back on Thursday’s post, Ireland, the UK and western flank of mainland Europe stays on the unsettled side of things through next week with low pressure always close by if not overhead. Low pressure will keep the moisture on tap, accompanied by a breeze but with the jet predominantly to the south, it shall remain a cool flow with hill snow.

It’s been a wet day across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Southern Britain but through tonight, while skies clear to the West and South with an increased ice risk, we find the North baring the brunt of the rain tonight and through tomorrow. Sunshine for much of England and Wales tomorrow.
Below is the GFS surface through the next 13 days. Plenty of showers, chilly breezes and even a blast of much colder air on the backside of low pressure towards next weekend into early following week.
