With the low spinning overhead tomorrow, expect a rather dismal day with heavy cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting much of the northern UK. Breezy on the coast and in exposed areas.
By Wednesday the low is positioned across the southern UK joining multiple low pressure centres on the south side of high pressure. With the lows throwing milder, more humid air north expect enhanced rainfall and convective thunderstorm activity from Cornwall all the way across the Low Countries to E Germany while dry, brighter over N England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. NE winds blow on the north side of these lows affecting E England and Scotland providing a distinctly cool, breezy, damp setup. The rain and NE flow extends north late week re-effecting N England and Scotland while drying in the south.
ARPEGE surf/precip charts for the remainder of the week.
