The ECMWF is trying to drop a trough down over the UK late this weekend into next week but with little moisture to work with and soils becoming increasingly dried out, the atmosphere can only rebuild heights and therefore the warmth mid and late next week. Moral of the story is, high pressure remains dominant overall but we will see a BRIEF cool down but with little rain early next week but warming back up.
