Scotland
We saw drying through the afternoon hours today following a wet morning. Into tonight and it starts off dry with even some late brightness perhaps but as we head into the first half of the night, rain spreads south covering much of the country by dawn Friday. Lows of 10-13C.
Friday unsurprisingly starts on a wet note for the majority but through the morning into the early afternoon we should see the rain push south with brightness appearing, making for a pleasantly warm afternoon with highs pushing 21C in the sunnier spots, widely 16-18C.
More rain to come during Saturday. Highs of 15-17C.
England
It’s been a damp, dreary day right across England with rain eventually pushing into the London area. Through tonight and that rain clears to the south leaving beneath low cloud, mist and patchy fog. Rain will spread down from Scotland into Northern parts overnight, for the Midlands and South it stays mainly dry but muggy. Lows tonight hold up at 11-13C.
Friday starts wet across the North and East with rain spreading south through Manchester and towards Birmingham, drier for London and the Southeast. Through the day and a band of rain, some of which could be heavy will co0ver the eastern flank of England while another band will spread from Carlisle down towards Manchester. Staying mainly dry for South-Central and Southwest England. Highs range from 15 in the rain to 21C in the sunshine.
A slight chance of rain for Glastonbury later Friday while there could well be disruption to play tomorrow at SW19.
Mix of sunshine and cloud with highs of 17-22C on Saturday. Looking good for both Glastonbury and Wimbledon.
Wales
After a damp, cloudy, muggy day, it’s turns drier but remain cloudy and humid overnight tonight with lows dipping no lower than 11-13C.
Friday dawns dry for most but through the morning rain spreads into Northern parts, eventually spreading south, making for another rather gloomy but mild, muggy day. The best of any brightness will be found in the South. Highs of 16-20C.
Saturday should be mainly dry with low cloud and mist but turning bright for some during the afternoon. Highs of 16-21C, feeling muggy.
Northern Ireland
After a damp afternoon with a muggy feel, it will remain cloudy overnight and staying mild with lows no lower than 11-13C.
Friday starts cloudy but that cloud should make way for afternoon sunshine and with that sun, expect temperatures to rise for many towards 17 to 20C.
Saturday will be fairly cloudy but mild and muggy with highs of 17-21C.
Ireland
Thursday has been largely damp and cloudy across much of the Republic but through tonight, while rain clears, a lot of low cloud, mist and fog will be left behind, making for a rather mild night with lows widely down to 10-13C.
More rain spreads west to east across the country during Friday but we should see decent bright spells into the afternoon. Highs of 16-20C.
Cloudy and mild but it should stay mainly dry Saturday. Highs of 17-21C.
