More U.S Snow & Cold This Week

A major late April cold blast dove all the way to the Gulf Coast this weekend with 30s even reaching Florida this morning.

While the South shivered, another wave of unseasonable cold is dropping out of Canada tonight and on the leading edge of this strong cold front, heavy snow shall break out from Montana through Wyoming, Colorado (incl Denver) to Kansas, Nebraska up to Minnesota and Wisconsin tonight through Tuesday with a strip of 3-6, locally 10 inches expected.

The chill dropping into the northern Rockies and Plains will hold temps 20-30 below normal Monday and Tuesday and by midweek even north Texas may see lows in the 30s with more records tumbling.

Sorry for such a short post. I’m in Northern Ireland for one night, been a long day and time for bed but will put more detail on this tomorrow as I travel back on the ferry.
