Scotland
With light winds and plenty of PM sunshine on offer, it feels quite pleasant out there and not as cold as we’ve seen. Nights have remained cold though with a widespread, penetrating frost. After enjoying highs of up to 8-10C today, tonight makes way for another cool night but perhaps less cold with cloudier skies. Lows of +1-2C where thick cloud hangs on, -1 to -4C with an odd -6C possible where skies are clear longest and where snow continues to lie.
Another largely fine, dry and fairly mild day to come Thursday with decent spells of sun. Winds remain light out of the NE with just a small chance of a shower across the cloudier north.

England
The fresh to at times, gusty, NE wind continues to make it feel more like winter rather than spring and through tonight, these winds will feed in snow showers across parts of East Anglia and the Southeast with a chance of perhaps a light covering over particularly higher ground south of London.
Across the board it’s a mix of cloud and clear spells, breezy in the South. Where cloudy, lows may stay just above freezing, where clear, just below. The fresh breeze will make it feel raw.
Through Thursday, it stays windy, fairly bright from the Midlands north and here we may see 7-8C but in the cloudier and somewhat windier South, it only warms to a dissapointing 4-5C, factor in the 5-15 mph NE wind and it feels more like 0 to -3C, even in Greater London. Flurries may be off and on throughout the day across the Southeast. Normal high at this time of year is nearer 14C btw!
Wales
While it’s been a lovely day for much of Wales, step outside and it feels a lot nippier than it looks thanks to a stiff northeast breeze. Highs today up to 6 or 7C, feeling colder though. Through tonight it’s a fairly clear night and despite the breeze, a widespread frost can be expected, lows of 1 on the coast, -2 or -3C inland, perhaps colder in clear and more sheltered areas.
Through Thursday it’s another lovely day to look at but step outside and it feels more like winter out there. Highs of 5-7C but with a fresh to at times strong northeast wind, it feels nearer to 1-2C.
Northern Ireland
The cold nights but slightly less cold days continues and tonight is no exception as clear skies and fairly light winds means another widespread frost with lows of 1 where cloud lingers to -3C under the clear skies, locally -4 or -5C over residual snow cover. Tomorrow will be a near repeat performance of today with lots of decent sunny spells and with light enough winds, you’ll feel the benefit in the strength of the early April sun.
Ireland
It was a very pleasant almost spring-like day across parts of Ireland under sunny skies and light winds, those same conditions tonight will allow for a widespread and hard frost, especially through the Midlands where it may dip down to -5C in spots. Those same clear skies give way to a sunny day on your Thursday and with the help of dry air and light winds, temperatures should soar to 10 or 11C for the first time in a couple of weeks.
