GFS US Snow Forecast: DC More All Snow, Boston Less?

Written by on November 26, 2012 in North and South America, United States of America with 0 Comments

Here is the latest snow forecast off the GFS for the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast snowfall through Wed.

I am still going for a potential ALL snow event from around the Delaware-New Jersey line north but potentially SOUTH of Boston now due to a slightly further south track but I am not sure whether to now include DC within the ALL snow or nearly all snow with a quick initial rain? Parts of WV, VA and eastern PA, especially the mtns could see a decent 4-8 inch, locally 12 inch snowstorm out of this with 3-6 in a line from DC, Baltimore, Philly, Trenton, Newark, NYC to Hartford.

Check out my earlier post which looks at the next shot of arctic air and a little more on this snow event for the East. Be sure to follow my updates on facebook and twitter.
