Tropical Storm Isaac is emerging out over the bathtub warm waters of the Florida Straits and with the core largely intact from interaction with Hispaniola and Cuba, the concern is that with the high heat content available and good atmospheric conditions, the large area of energy could bundle and this system may rapidly intensify over the next 24 hours.
Isaac looks to make a Middle Keys landfall Sunday night and the big queston is, how strong will he be?
Given the ocean and atmospheric environment. It’s not out of the question to have a Cat 2 or even 3 storm cross the Keys tomorrow night.
Please stay tuned for FULL details tomorrow and on into early next week as Isaac looks to track northwest towards the Mobile, Alabama area of the Gulf Coast by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Could well be a major.
