>Hi Mr Vogan. An old friend here from high school. I saw you made a forecast for more settled weather here in UK for the end of May. I picked a week of annual leave based on this. I enjoyed, as a result of your forecast, one of the best weeks of the year to be relaxing back here in Fife. Hat off to you.
I had a conversation with a work colleague regarding your winter forecast. His conclusion was you were a few months out. The cold arrived in April/May. It was exceptional and prolonged. I had more snowfall here in Fife during that period than during November to March. So we think you were half correct on that one, just a timing issue! But indeed eastern Europe endured the real winter cold.
Keep up the good work!!! You're probably one of the few people in the world with an HGV license and a scientist.
