Today has seen plenty of sunshine with embedded showers peppering the British and Irish landscape. Those showers have packed a punch with torrential downpours which where accompanied by gusty winds, sharp temp falls which produced sleet and even snow down to 500 metres, hail as well as thunder and lightning.
