First Real Snowstorm of Winter 2011-12 from Baltimore to New York City
Record snow fell at Chicago’s Midway Airport with a total of 7.3 inches. As much as 9.1 inches fell at suburban Joliet, IL while further east, New York City recieved their first measurable snow of the season with 1.3 inches while Philadelphia recorded their first inch with 2.3 inches.
