Settled High Brings Sunny/Crisp Days, Frosty Nights But Arctic Air Pool Expands Across Eastern-Central Europe This Weekend Onwards

This weekend will remain very pleasant indeed with bright, mostly sunny skies by day which bring glorious, crisp winter sunshine and temps more suited to January at 4-7C across the UK and Ireland. This skies give way to stars shinning bright at night and with little wind to hold down the warmth generated by day, will allow radiational cooling and thus temps dipping below freezing and frost formation. This is classic and nothing particularly cold.

It appears a little cloudier conditions may drift into the northern UK through the weekend with still frosty, cool nights but should remain sunnier further south throughout the weekend and even into early next week thanks to that high. READ MORE!
