Chilly morning across UK heralds start to cold Sunday ahead
Skies remained clear and winds light in many areas overnight and this lead to a hard frost, did you waken to frost this morning?

The Day ahead across Europe
Much of the weather action today will be over the southern Mediterannean countries thanks to the southward displacement of the jet stream following the big storm which roared across France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. This has pulled down cold air all the way down and south of the Alps, thus covering a large swathe of the continent. Wet and windy conditions will be had through Italy, Greece, the Balkans and Turkey with some embedded thunderstorms and very heavy rains. These rains will be heavy and inte.
North of this active weather will be a mix of sun and clouds with some showers and highs remaining supressed and chilly in the northwest flow. From Glasgow east through Copenhagen, Berlin, Praque to Moscow it will only warm to between 1-4C with even an area from London south through Paris to Madrid only rising to 6-8C with a cold wind.
