Models suggest first cold blast is heading for Scandinavia next 7-10 days but will the UK see colder weather with snow later this month?

Here is the current upper level pattern off the european showing the continuing ridge and mild weather across western Europe while the cold holds in the east.

The cold will push west taking aim at Scandinavia over the next 7-10 days! The burning question on many Brits minds is will we see colder weather here in the UK? Before I commit to saying yes, I’m wanting to see that blocking over the north Atlantic and right now, the model continues to show the ridge too close to the UK. That means the cold remains to our east.
