>Todays Extremes here at the house
High 41 degrees (1.39pm) Low 35 degrees (6.14am)
RAIN: A few sprinkles now and again
Another generally dry and cloudy day with Atlantic air continuing to be firmly in control but this may be having to fight cooler air off the continent over the next few days. Hills are still seeing some wintry showers. The mild air is still more seasonal than much above normal like seen during much milder overall winter seasons. “Mild” during some of the warmer winters such as 2006-2007 was supporting temperatures more in the low to even mid-50s and nights that remained above 50 where as during this mild 2 week period, temps are only getting to around 40 degrees or 45 on the warmest of days so the overall regime is supporting cooler and generally “average temps for time of season”. We are heading towards “colder-than-normal” in the next 10-day period which could last for at least the first half of February.
