Overall a mild day with overnight warming which peaked to produce the day’s high at 2.22am this morning before a cooling trend which bottomed out at 9.50am, an unusual overnight warming/cooling trend and disruption for normal diurnal temperature swings due to the presence of Atlantic depression and the varying behavior of frontal boundaries which can usher in milder air when it should be the coolest time of the day. Today’s weather was generally characterised with a mix of sun and clouds for the morning hours and mostly cloudy by afternoon, rain moved in with generally showers, some heavy late on, temps throughout the day held steady around the 41 to 44 degree range with a light breeze.
