>Today’s Extremes here at my house
High 45 degrees (1.00pm) Low 40 degrees (4.20am)
A day which started (overnight, early hours) with partly cloudy to pockets of clear skies and stars visible. By sunrise, it was a beautiful and bright, sunny morning with a brisk southwest breeze which made the low 40s feel more like mid to upper-30s! A much fresher feel the the air as the air sweeps in on the backside of the low pressure circulation. By afternoon skies began clouding over and yet again another heavy and persistent band of rain moved in by mid-afternoon which has brought persistently heavy rainfall across the area up till now (as of 9.20pm). The air is of a much cooler, northwest (maritime-polar) origin and therefore the cooler feel to the air.

>The first waist deep snows have fallen here in Castle Skink. I had to strap Racquets to my feet to embark on my journey to milk my cows. They were pleased to feel my warm hands on their udders.
