Today’s morning lows: International Falls, MN: 37 degrees, Laughlin, NV 97 degrees..
By purely face value. According to the Weather Channel graphic of lows across the nation this morning there is a spread in just “lows” of 60 degrees between International Falls, Minnesota and Laughlin, Nevada but I’m betting there is somewhere around International Falls that dropped to or just below freezing this morning creating a temperature spread greater than 60 degrees.. Think about it, stepping out the door would have been two remarkable differences to the body, one in which you’d need a coat, even gloves? The other where its basically pushing 100 degrees again if you stepped outside at 6-7 or 8am. Like stepping into a tandoori oven. There’s certainly no cooling effect off that Colorado River down there that’s for sure..
Even more stunning is a 70 degree temperature spread found across just California yesterday, where and how I shall explain within the next hour… Stay tuned..
