30C is pretty much an annual occurrence over southeast England but the further north you go the rarer it becomes.
Yesterday was the first time in many years where Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland ALL reported 30C.

For Northern Ireland and Scotland, it was the warmest June day since 1995 with Castlederg, Tyrone recording 30.0C while Aviemore, Highland soared to 31.3C and this may have tied Aviemore’s all-time record.

Glasgow topped 29.5C which is the city’s warmest day since at least 2005.
Today, Glasgow has already topped 31C with still another hour or two of heating left. We could threaten the all-time record.
