It’s an October which shall be remembered for two H words. Heat and hurricanes and I guess snow in Montana and coldest for Rockies! It appears that the remainder of the month shall stay warmer than normal and this suggests that October 2017 could wind up one of the country’s warmest east of the Mississippi.

If October was to end now I recon this would’ve fallen within the top 5 coldest October’s for interior Northwest but warmer prospects are likely to washout the current cold significantly!

CFSv2 weeklies keep the warmth going deep into November!

Looks like the fall storm season is ready to crank for the Pacific Northwest next week.
