Also have a random question I was hoping you could help answer. Vermont normally gets a lot of snow for the East Coast and is where the major ski resorts are located East of the Mississippi. I happen to be visiting there right now and it looks like mud season!

In actuality they seem to be stuck in somewhat of a pattern where for 2014/15/16 Vermont has received far less snow than usual even during cold spells and it appears that what they will get for 2016 will be coming late – next week and hopefully into later FEB, MAR, (APR). Is there some reason why they might be getting stuck into a longterm pattern of this nature. Perhaps something to do with Atlantic Ocean temperatures being so hot or a change in the Jet Stream pattern(s), or?

Just wondering if you might have some thoughts on the matter.

Nice post – great explanations as always!
Thought I should let you know that for some reason the video is glitching quite a bit today.
