The second major storm in less than a week is now crossing the southern Rockies and poised to bring blizzard conditions and over 2ft of snow to Colorado and a 6-12 inch swath from Denver through Kansas and Nebraska tonight through tomorrow. While there’s a distinct wintry side, rich warm, moist air is sweeping into the Southern Plains from Gulf is set to unleash a worse severe weather outbreak than last week as well as produce a widespread flooding rain event.
