BREAKING: Heathrow Sets New UK July Record, Paris Sweats Hottest Day Since 1947!!!

BREAKING: Heathrow Airport has recorded a temperature of 36.7C today surpassing the 9 year old record of 36.5C set at Wisley, Surrey.

Meanwhile on the other side of the channel it was even hotter with Paris recording it’s hottest day since 1947 and 2nd highest on record with a high of 39.7C according to Meteo France. Amazingly this nudges past the highest temperature (39.6C) recorded in the 2003 heat wave.

2.45AM: Temperature at Heathrow Airport has now climbed to 35.7C.

11.30AM: The Southeast of England currently ranges between 30-35C with an official 34.5C at 11.30am. This makes for the hottest air temperatures recorded in the UK since July 2006.
