A 45-vehicle pile-up occurred yesterday during heavy snow along I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne. Authorities say at least 6 were left critical following the ‘domino effect’ crash.

Conditions to the south over Colorado’s High Country was just as nasty as big rigs were forced to chain up last night on I-70.

Meanwhile further east on the High Plains, it’s all about severe weather today and in the Deep South, thunderstorms and flooding rains.

The snow and severe weather is all part of the same large storm system that will ultimately re-cast the US upper pattern, bringing the return of arctic air again as the system pushes up into Ontario late weekend.
