Great video. Loved the written post too. All of us in the Southern cities have been watching the unbelievable snow pile up in the North East along with the cold air.

Although it has remained a fairly cold winter in Nashville it’s been nowhere near as cold as the winter of 14-15. No real snow buildup last year or this year.

Now it appears we could actually get slammed with our own taste of Winter – not even near to what folks to the North East are getting – but still a shock to the system and the urban infrastructure when we’re not that used to it. Do you think the models could be overplaying 6-8″ of snow around Nashville or what is your best take on what we’re likely to be in for? Do you have any clue as to that amount of snow here and the dates they may have occurred?

I would imagine anything over 3″ of good snow remaining on the ground here for long would shut down any of these Southern cities.

Thanks for the great written posts and videos. You all have had quite a Winter in the UK so far. My brother and his family have lived to the North West of London near Windsor for many years. Yes I think it’s safe to say the Winter of 14-15 will be remembered for a long time on both sides of the Atlantic.
