US 7-DAY: Next Big Snow Hits Sun-Mon, CFSv2 Has A Frigid February In The Northeast

It’s not often you see this off the CFSv2 monthly! What a brutal February it has for the Northeast.

Fits with what’s been shown here from a good couple of weeks ago that the focus of winter’s worst will be in the Northeast first half of February.

As shown in last night’s write-up, we had the pesky snows pushing through this morning but this is quickly followed by another significant snowstorm for Sun-Mon and it’s hot on the heels of the #blizzardof2015. In between there’s a substantial cold shot.

System No 2 hits Sun-Mon and this may drop a solid 6-12 inch blanket from eastern Kansas to New England. Another full fledged blizzard is possible for New England again.
