Was looking at the last video map you showed on the above video of the relapsing/remitting Siberian warming and speculating that perhaps some kind of wave propagation pattern appears to underlie this apparently “rhythmic” happening. Is there any meteorological or climatological reference to a wave pattern of this kind?
And, (2),,as has been widely tossed about, what is your take on the conjecture that the overall pattern we’re experiencing in N. America – with ridge over Alaska/West Coast and trough over East – could indeed be a longer term event? Longer term such that, as has been pointed out by the climatologists from known proven historical events, that we could be in a pattern which could result in anywhere from ~20 years to 200 years of Western drought and, I believe, the attendant corollary of “troughiness” over the East.
