Ahead of the next approaching CF, we have unusually warm air flooding the UK today. Even up here in Scotland, though cloudy and damp, it’s very mild for the final day of October. The SE where sunshine breaks out, we’re talking LOW 20s!

Temps here are actually up into the 16-17C range this morning already and if sunshine comes out, especially in the east, the Scottish Halloween record of 19.3C set in Kinloss back in 2011 may be threatened.

Once that low crosses the UK this weekend, we’re back to reality and November!

Big difference in 2 metre temps between this afternoon and Monday afternoon.

We have a chilly high settling in mid next week so expect some cold November nights and cool, crisp days.

Denmark sits right in the boundary between some pretty cold air drilling down over Norway and mild to the south over Germany. Think you’ll find Denmark is in the battle this upcoming winter!

By next Friday, in comes this next wind and rain maker.. Watch out for some HEAVIER RAINS mid month on, England and Wales!

Don’t be fooled by those hyping any cold blast coming… this pattern is ATLANTIC and no sign of any easterly developing until possibly later November or more likely December!
