Model still has some snow in the higher elevations of the Northeast

However it’s significantly toned down on the 10 day from last night’s run as it weakens and takes a super cold front more out to sea.
After limping ashore on Mexico’s west coast, could a tropical or sub-tropical system form in Gulf? Model maybe sniffing out something…


Latest QPF shows 3 main areas of precipitation. 1) Pacific Northwest 2) Northeast with late week Nor’easter and 4) Florida where models see development.

GFS looks cool starting in the east but spreads west day 7 onwards.
