Man-battles-high-winds-007Scotland

A blustery night to come, as winds ease and with clear skies, it turns cooler. However winds will pick up through the second half of the night as the next front pushes in from the southwest, bringing another spell of wet and windy weather tomorrow with southerly gales. Everywhere will see a spell of heavy, wind driven rain but it’s in the west Highlands and Southern Uplands which may see a good inch or so of rain.

Lows tonight dip widely down to 3-5C, tomorrow, thanks to a southerly flow temps rise towards 11 or 12C but in the potentially sunnier and sheltered Moray coast, it may get up to 15C.

England

It will be a largely fine, dry and settled night to come with a breeze for most but through the second half of the night, western and northern areas will see rain push in from the west. This next batch of wet weather will be accompanied once again by strong winds but from the Midlands south and southeast, although cloudy to start, it shall be a dry Wednesday with sunshine appearing through the afternoon. Highs where the sun shines may approach 20C but a lot cooler in the windier, wetter north and west.

Lows tonight 4-11C, highs Wednesday 13-20C.

Wales

After a largely fine end to your Tuesday, tonight will see more wind and rain push in from the Irish Sea thanks to the presence of yet another low pressure. Expect strong to gale force winds tomorrow with bands of rain sweeping in. Tomorrow night will see more wind and rain.

Lows tonight no lower than 4C, highs tomorrow 12-16C.

Northern Ireland

A fine, dry but breezy end to Tuesday but another batch of nasty weather lurks through tonight as the next system swings a band of heavy rain and strong to gale-force winds right across the country. Like today, this rain should clear through by late morning/midday tomorrow with heavy, blustery showers to follow. Staying windy from the south and mild at 12-15C.

Ireland

A very wet and windy night to come right across the Republic as the next Atlantic low swings a front through. Don’t be surprised to see localised flooding with this next spell of wet weather. Winds are sure to be gale-force along the south and west coast, blustery across the country.

Lows tonight no lower than 5C, highs tomorrow up at 12-15C.
