Scotland

The nagging easterly flow, albeit lighter will continue to bring in those snow showers to eastern aprts with some spreading west through the Central Lowlands. It will be a largely dry and settled night despite some snow showers around, lows widely down to -2C in towns and cities, nearer -10C where clear over the snowfields. Tomorrow will be a repeat of today with a mix of sun and cloud with snow showers blowing into eastern parts, some may reach Glasgow and other western areas during the day. Highs of 5 or 6C in the sun, nearer 1-3C where cloudy, breezier and snowy.[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_level1)]

England

The cold regime holds firm across England through tonight into tomorrow and towards the Easter weekend. As for tonight, expect some snow showers to continue feeding into eastern parts with the potential for a light covering across the SE tonight as the temp and ground cools. A mix of clear spells and cloud elsewhere, lows 0 to -3C in towns, potentially -8 or -9C where clear over the snowfields.

Tomorrow will be largely quiet with a mix of sun and cloud with lighter winds than of late. Snow showers will continue feeding into eastern parts with any accumulations from the overnight at low levels, melting away thanks to the strong March sun. Highs range from 7C in the sun to only 1-3C where cloudy and snowy.

Wales

Snow showers should ease down through tonight allowing for a largely dry night with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Temps dip to freezing for all, -7/-8C over the snowfields. Tomorrow will be similar to today with perhaps a little more sun, less snow shower activity and highs with sunnier skies may respond a little better than today at 3-7C.

Northern Ireland

The snow showers may linger through tonight from Antrim to Armagh but all in all, it’s going to be another clear and unseasonably cold night with lows widely back below freezing, perhaps -6C over the snow cover. Tomorrow will be another largely fine and dry day with some eastern snow showers but with plenty of sunshine to be had and lighter winds than of late, expect highs up to 7C in spots.

Ireland

A very cold, frosty night to come under clear skies and lighter winds, lows could dip to -5C over the Midlands.

Tomorrow will be a largely fine, dry and settled day with an odd snow shower possible across eastern or higher parts of the country. Highs tomorrow range from 3 to 6C.
