Fri’s the 3rd day which has failed to produce a 60-deg official high in Chi! That’s not happened in 88 yrs–since Sept 13, 14 & 15 1923! Chicago’s not alone with “firsts” in this cool spell. International Falls MN saw lowest temp (28) so early in a meteorological fall season Thu while N Wis logged its earliest flurries in 95 years! Patchy light rain/sprinkles trudging acrs Chi area at 4PM. Precip’s light: RFD’s recorded just 0.01″. Clouds break Sat allowing some sun & modest warming: High 70!
