Today after a fresh overnight snowfall, I enjoyed sitting in the passanger seat of the truck and managed to capture some images of the frozen snowfields of North Ayrshire. As you can see it was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and a brilliantly white pristine blanket of white..
We appear to have the potential aligning for the COLDEST HIGH OF WINTER. The coldest high here and for Glasgow’s site was Christmas Eve with a high of 24 degrees. We may after lows into the low teens only warm to around 20-23 degrees.. High temperature forecasts remain at or below freezing and nights appear to want to drop into the teens more often than not for the next 4-7 nights ahead which is quite remarkable.
Folks, the freeze remains locked in place and it simply doesn’t appear to look as though it will break down or even weaken for at least the mid point of January but I am strongly in belief that this month will remain cold as it is now until early February!
The Northern hemisphere is simply remarkble at how much cold there is covering the landmass as well as just how severe the cold is when looking at the USA, Europe and Asia where China as well as Korea is suffering crippling snowstorms and truely brutal cold not seen in 30 to 70 years…
Thanks for reading.
