RAIN/SNOW: Afternoon snow flurries
A chilly day with mostly cloudy skies that produced some afternoon flurries which dusted here but brought as much as 1-2 inches across the higher ground of Ayrshire and areas south of Glasgow. The high was indeed the second sub-freezing day of December 2009.
