RAIN/SNOW: FOG
A day generally identical to previous few. A mostly sunny day for much of Scotland outwith the still fogbound central lowland region. The Greenock-Glasgow-Livingston-Edinburgh corridor has now been shrouded in dense fog with some areas worse than others for the last 2-3 days running. This stagnant high over northern Great Britain has not now air flow to remove this fog trapped in lowlying areas as thus days have remained cool and damp with little diurnal contrast.
