An overnight dominated by heavy to torrential rain which created serious surface spray on roads but the rains eased and cleared out of our area (Greater Glasgow) between 7-8am as the bands of rain progressed eastward. Skies remained mostly cloudy throughout the day. Temperatures have stayed uniform from Breakfast to dinner (generally 38 to around 41 as the spread). Skies tonight have cleared out and the light breeze is to slacken off allowing us to cool off. Low by morning is expected to bottom out around 28 degrees.
