UPDATE: Glasgow, Scotland currently 57 degrees, State College, Pa currently 32 degrees with snow showers! Big Contrast between unusually mild and unusually cool across the Atlantic today!

STATE COLLEGE, CENTER COUNTY, PA GETS HAMMERED BY OVER 4 INCHES OF SNOW, WHICH BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF EARLIEST ONE INCH SNOW WHICH WAS OCT 17..

IF YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS FROM STATE COLLEGE OR ANYWHERE ELSE FROM THE APPALACHAINS TO SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND OF THIS HEAVY, DAMAGING AND RECORD BREAKING SNOWSTORM, PLEASE SEND ME THEM ALONG BY EMAILING THEM TO [email protected].

Dare I say, an unprecidented 4 inches has fallen at State College, breaking the old record of 1 inch by October 17.

According to Meteorologist Joe Lundburg, 4 inches had come down outside of the AccuWeather Headquarters and it was still falling heavily at 2am this morning. With AccuWeather recieving 4 inches, perhaps even 5 when all is said and done, considering from my understanding, it’s still snowing there right now, Happy Valley may likely have varying amounts between 2-6 inches with surrounding ridges and slopes that may get between 6-15 inches. Major poer loss and tree damge is occuring and likely those reports will filter in throughout the course of today.

In an email by Henry Margusity, power is out at his house, where he recieved 5 inches!

Stay tuned to AccuWeather at www.accuweather.com for the latest and tune in to Jesse Ferrell and Henry Margusity’s blog for more information. I intend to have photos posted here later along with more updated information.

Stay tuned..
