>Firstly, Erika is going nowhere and may never do anything. Like Danny, like Ana, they either fizzled or became rainstorms. I need to watch as Erika may become a player later, however the Atlantic basin season is shutting down and anything that pops now will be home brewed spins that erupt off frontal systems that swing out into the Atlantic off the US mainland..
As for California!! IT’S NOT GLOBAL WARMING FOLKS BUT MORE AND MORE HOMES BEING BUILT IN HIGH RISK WILDFIRE AREAS.. Remember, every summer that goes by, there’s wildfires, especially when Santa Anas take place. It’s a dry place at the best of times, cold PDO makes for even DRIER conditions.. That’s nothing unusual here, always been and always will be wildfires in SOCAL and the more people that move in, the more risk there is..
Sorry for short post, bedtime. More tomorrow.
Thanks for reading.

>The flooding in Glasgow isn't significant either: it's just the fact that more homes are being build in areas subject to flooding?
On the other hand, there's more moisture in the atmosphere due to the global warming (obviously). This causes increased precipitation over Scotland as the air is forced to rise over the land, it cools, saturates, and sheds moisture to the ginger drinking people pottering about in the cloud shrouded city of Glasgow. My advice to them is to use the underground and take a brolly.
